Fairfax Stars Class of 2012 Will Continue Their Education and Play College Basketball

Congratulations to the members of the Fairfax Stars Class of 2012 that have now graduated from high school and pursue opportunities to continue their education and play college basketball.

Most of these players are long time Fairfax Stars and all of the girls played during the 2011 summer for the U16 Girls Nike Elite Premier Showcase team that won the Nike Summer Showdown tournament in Chicago and advanced to the championship game of the prestigious Nike Nationals Invitational tournament to close the season.

The Fairfax Stars are very proud of the fact that for the past six years, all graduating seniors from the girls program and a growing number from the boys program have earned basketball scholarships to continue their education at some of the finest colleges and universities in the nation.

Congratulations to these talented student - athletes and their families. 

The Fairfax Stars AAU basketball program includes teams for girls and boys from ages 7 – 18. Each season teams are selected based on an open tryout, therefore all potential candidates are invited. The foundation of the program is a commitment to teaching fundamental basketball skill development and knowledge of the game. With a talented, experienced, and dedicated roster of volunteer coaches, the Fairfax Stars will enhance your basketball experience and love for the game in an environment of positive reinforcement and fun.
