Former Fairfax Star, Edison High School All Met, and Georgetown University standout Adria Crawford recently joined the coaching staff at NCAA Division I Longwood University.

Adria, who graduated from Georgetown in May, coached a 9 year old boys team this summer for the Fairfax Stars basketball program.  Adria played several years for the Fairfax Stars including two years on the U16 Girls Nike Elite Premier Showcase team.  Following her playing career, she continued to teach and share her knowledge with younger players during clinics and the skills development league.

Adria had an outstanding career at Edison High School, receiving numerous honors and awards, including All Met recognition.

During her career at Georgetown, she was a consistent and reliable contributor, often drawing the defensive assignment of the other team's top scorer.  Her versatility allowed her to play several positions and her relentless rebounding is legendary.  She helped Georgetown achieve top 20 national rankings and NCAA tournament invitations.

Adria enjoys a passion for teaching young players and will be an outstanding addition to the Longwood staff...
